Directors Jim Quintana and James Beale have more than 30 years of experience in the Brighton & Hove property market. Meet the Team

Jim Quintana MNAEA

Jim is the beating heart of Q Estate Agents having started the company way back in 2004. Born and bred in Sussex, Jim initially worked for a large multi-office letting agent in Brighton before striking out on his own. Well known for his integrity and realistic approach to both sales and lettings, Jim is the perfect person to advise you through any property transaction. Jim is a qualified Member of the National Association of Estate Agents and a member of ARLA.

James Beale MNAEA

James moved to Brighton in 2003 and quickly established himself as one of the city’s most accomplished estate agents. Having built up a wealth of experience at a number of large and small agencies across Brighton & Hove the chance to bring his extensive knowledge to his own company was the obvious next step. There is little James doesn’t know about property and he always has time to talk buyers and sellers through the complexities of moving. James is a qualified Member of the National Association of Estate Agents.

Ben Lowe

Ben is our Lettings Manager having been promoted to the role in 2023. Since joining Q in 1019, Ben's unwavering positivity has been a huge asset. His professionalism and legislative knowledge ensure he is the perfect person to advise our clients on their residential investments. Ben has
recently achieved his Propertymark Level 3 Award in residential lettings.

Amy Parry

Amy joined Q after moving back to Brighton from Reading in 2022. Amy is an experienced property manager having joined Q from a large national company. Amy is diligent and organised in all she does, and is always ready to help with friendly advice. In her spare time she enjoys crochet, which may explain why, even in the most stressful scenario, she doesn’t get frayed.

Anais Pullen

Anais is our newest negotiator but brings plenty of experience to the role. Anais has spent time working at another local letting agency but the chance to work at Q was too good to resist. Anais is smart and approachable with a constant desire to achieve the best results for her landlords and tenants.

Matt Ashworth

Matt joined Q in 2023 as a Property Manager and brings a wealth of experience to the role. Having started his career as a heating engineer, before becoming a property manager at one of the city's largest letting agents, he is certainly well-equipped to look after the maintenance at our portfiolio of residential homes.

Work in the Community and Charity

Brighton and Hove is an amazing city with a strong community spirit built around independent businesses. It is our aim to be part of that community and support local enterprises wherever possible. After having run the Hanover Open House Art Trail during the Brighton festival for many years, we have recently handed the responsibility over to some local artists but continue to financially support the project.  We have sponsored local artists and acting groups as well as donating money to the Hanover Community Centre and The Rocking Horse Children’s Charity.

Currently our main focus is to support our local primary school, Fairlight primary.   Over the past three years we have provided money to help them run and grow the schools garden.  Our donations have helped them purchase the materials they need to teach the children about planting flowers and vegetables through the year and even a tipi for lessons in the reliable British weather.
